# Cisco VRRP

Monitors status of Cisco VRRP enabled interfaces

Check Info:

* *service*: creates one item per VRRP ID and interface
* *state*: **warning** if authentication is not enabled, admin state is not up, operational state changed or not master/backup, master ip address changed
* *wato*: all monitoring states can be configured
* *perfdata*:
    *  Advertisement interval errors
    *  Authentication failures
    *  IP TTL errors (TTL not 255)
    *  Invalid type field received
    *  Address list errors
    *  Invalid authentication type
    *  Authentication type mismatch
    *  Packet length errors


Testetd with: IOS-XE 17.01.01 and IOS 15.1(4)

**Note: don't work with some Catalyst switces (Packet length errors)**
