# Cisco VPN Sessions

**Note: this check has become the bas for the buildin check cisco_vpn_sessions**

**Note: this check is will replace the Cisco ASA SVC sessions and my Cisco ASA Remote access package (cisco_asa_cras).**\
**If you use this check remove the cisco_asa_cras package (if installed) and disable the cisco_asa_svcsessions check please.**

This check Monitors the number of Cisco VPN sessions on ASA and FirePower devices

**Note:** support for Cisco FirePower is not fully tested yet

Check Info:

* *service*: creates on item vor AnyConnect SVC, Clientless, IPSec RA and IPSec L2L VPN sessions and Summary
* *state*: **critical**/**warning** if the number of active sessions outside of the configured level
* *wato*: you can configure the warn/crit level for the number of active session
* *perfdata*: number of active and peak VPN sessions
